An attitude, because life often throws things at us that are challenging and unexpected and much as we want to give in to the misery of it all, we need to have the kind of attitude that doesn’t accept defeat but keeps going forward to overcome all obstacles in our path.
I have placed much effort and heartache on my upcoming career coach workshop, targeting a large audience and working hard to ensure I don’t compromise on the learning value. You can imagine my frustration at having to part with my events company two weeks to the workshop (this happened last week Monday)… my mind was reeling at the implication of this decision, knowing that so much needed to be done as we get closer to the event date. The reasoning and story behind this is not for today (I don’t even want to go into victim mode) but in summary they severely under delivered on our agreed outputs and they confessed that they were unable to execute.
Since then we have worked extra hard and thankfully everything has fallen in place in ways I can’t even explain to you…right now I’m all set to deliver great value with no compromises to quality…in fact, I invite you to join me at Serena on Saturday so you get to see for yourself what I’m talking about, the workshop details are available on my website.
Next time a situation is not going your way, remember to keep up your attitude of success – you’ll definitely see things turn around!
